"Man Talk" Is Carrie Fisher's First Ever Television Series

Hollywood pop culture icon Carrie Fisher sits down with some of the entertainment world's biggest male stars in Oxygen Media's "Man Talk with Carrie Fisher." Premiering as a series of specials on Monday, September 3 at 9:00 p.m.(a), "Man Talk" will eavesdrop on Carrie as she hangs out in with some of her closest friends in Hollywood.

Oxygen will produce five episodes of the one-hour talk show, which marks Ms. Fisher's first venture into serial television.

In the premiere episode, Hollywood heartthrob Ben Affleck sits down to talk with Carrie about the price of fame, their celebrity friends and their first meeting.

Affleck on Fisher:

Affleck: "You have a life that is most like a talk show in many ways"

Fisher replies: "No it isn't. My life is like a bad sitcom."

Affleck on marriage:

"I don't think marriage is the thing for me right now. I think the modern sense is that marriages aren't forever. I mean, maybe deep down, people just kinda know that now."

Affleck on politics:

"It's a very difficult life and not something I have any plans to do."

"Man Talk with Carrie Fisher" is executive produced by Ms. Fisher, Nicolette Donen and Todd Yasui. Ms. Donen is also the executive producer for Oxygen on "Exhale with Candice Bergen" and "As She Sees It." Mr. Yasui also serves as executive producer for Oxygen on "I've Got A Secret" and "Who Needs Hollywood?"
