We here at ben-fan are a laid back group, our main purpose is to have fun!! We welcome any and all new members, however we do ask that before posting you spend some time reading through the forum so you can get the feel of our overall tone.
When you feel ready to jump in, I ask that you follow these few basic guidelines to help keep our community pleasant and enjoyable for everyone:
Always be respectful toward other posters on this board.
Every opinion counts here, whether or not it's one you agree with. If you cannot find a way to respectfully disagree with another person and state your reasons without being rude or sarcastic then please keep it to yourself. This is non-negotiable. The only exception is Ben bashing, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Please use the search feature.
If you have a question, please use the forum search feature before starting a new thread. You will probably find it's been asked (and possibly answered) before.
Please do not start duplicate threads.
Look through the first few pages of topics before starting a new thread. There may already be an existing thread on the subject you want to discuss.
Please do not double post.
If you have something to add please edit your original post rather than posting again two or more times in a row. It wastes bandwidth and clutters the board. The only exception is if a thread has had no replies for a while. Otherwise? Edit edit edit!
Please refrain from going overboard with netspeak.
We all tend to get a bit carried away at times, but for the most part everyone here attempts to use proper grammar, capitalization, spelling and punctuation. The occasional OMG, BTW and IMO are of course acceptable, but if it starts to resemble OMG!!!1 U R so kewl! LOLOL!!!!1!! then it becomes annoying.
