So anyway, how do you pronounce that name? The rest of his name is easy, but this one gives me a little trouble since I have no clue how to say it. Any help? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

I don't think he spells it with the accent, though googling shows the hungarian form (at least the king's name) is accented, which is probably why you did it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink4.gif)

There was some story of him meeting someone with the same name, and I think it quoted him on the proper pronunciation, but I can't find it. I have an idea it's pronounced gheeza (see ETA), but the accent does make me want to make the E stronger (portuguese uses accents, I'm weird that way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

But it did take me about a year into my benafflection to realize the double F in his last name opened the A! I am very much guilty of saying his name for a while as a-fleck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

ETA: nevermind, Wiki has an audio for that é: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Close-mi...unded_vowel.ogg Apparently, you say it as in café.
